PH CONTROL
High-quality binder sand made from natural bentonite with no other minerals added, it is non-toxic and does not create dust (ideal for allergic cats). This special formula contains coloured grains that help monitor your cat's health. If the grains change from purple to blue, this is because there is a change in the pH of your cat's urine, which could be a sign of kidney or urinary problems. The ideal urinary pH value should be around 6.5. If the pH is acidic (below 5.5/6) or alkaline (above 7/7.5) it is considered altered/abnormal. This doesn't mean that you have a disease because the pH can change depending on the type of food you eat or even medication. But the constancy of this indicator should lead you to take your cat to the vet for a more detailed analysis. This litter doesn't stick to the paws, so you shouldn't find any traces on the floor. It is ideal for cats sensitive to odours.
